25—29 Aug 2027 | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Welcome to APLAR 2027
The APLAR Executive Committee and the Malaysian Society of Rheumatology warmly welcome you to the 29th Asia-Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology Congress, to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Building on the strong legacy and continued growth of APLAR congresses, the 2027 meeting reflects the expanding global engagement in rheumatology across the Asia-Pacific region. Kuala Lumpur, as a vibrant and accessible international hub, provides an ideal setting to bring together clinicians, researchers, nurses and allied health professionals from diverse healthcare systems.
APLAR 2027 will serve as a platform for high-quality scientific exchange and meaningful collaboration across borders. The congress aims to advance the understanding, diagnosis and long-term management of rheumatic diseases, while continuing APLAR’s commitment to bridging gaps in knowledge, access and clinical practice across high-, middle- and low-resource settings.
The scientific program will feature leading international and regional experts, complemented by the strong contributions of our Malaysian hosts. We anticipate continued growth in high-quality abstract submissions, reflecting the increasing innovation and research output across the region. Together, this will deliver a comprehensive and relevant program aligned with the evolving needs of the rheumatology community.
We look forward to welcoming you to Kuala Lumpur in August 2027 as we mark another important milestone in our shared journey to improve outcomes for patients with rheumatic diseases across the Asia-Pacific region.
