Yasaharu Nakashima is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Kyushu University, a position he has held since 2016. He completed his medical degree at Kyushu University School of Medicine in 1990 and went on to earn his doctorate from the university’s Graduate School of Medical Sciences in 1996. Between 1994 and 1997, he served as a research fellow at Stanford University, where he expanded his expertise in orthopedic research and clinical practice.
