Dr Kaushik Chaudhuri has been a consultant rheumatologist for nearly 25 years the head of the department Rheumatology at the University Hospital Coventry and a honorary senior lecturer at Edge Hill University He is the current President of the Rheumatology section at the European Union of Medical Specialities UEMS A former Chair of Education and Training and Secretary of the British Society for Rheumatology He sits on the EULAR council and is a member of its Education Committee His interests are in service development education and training mentorship and the history of medicine
