Dr. Li is the Directors of Clinical Immunology Center, Institute of Rheumatology and Immunology in Peking University People’ s Hospital, and Director, Peking University Clinical Immunology Center. He is the president of Chinese Society of Immunology, Autoimmune Association, Chief Editor of Rheumatology & Autoimmunity, the Associate Editor of Clinical Rheumatology, International Journal of Rheumatic Disease, and the Honorary Chief Editor of Chinese Journal of Rheumatology. He serves on the editorial boards of Lancet Rheumatology. He has received a number of national and international acclaim for his research in rheumatology. He has a long standing interest in the immunology and genetics in rheumatoid arthritis, with the focus on mechanisms of RA and SLE. His interests are also in immunotherapy of SLE and Sjogren Syndrome. His research group has published over 500 articles on peer reviewed journals, e.g. Nature Medicine, Science, Lancet Rheumatology, Immunity and JAMA Network Open, etc.
