Dr. Vanessa Ocampo, MD, FRCPC is a Canadian rheumatologist and faculty member at McMaster University, specializing in psoriatic arthritis (PsA) and interest in other inflammatory arthritides. She completed her Internal Medicine training at McMaster University and her Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Toronto, where she developed a focused expertise in psoriatic arthritis.
Her clinical work centers on complex inflammatory arthritis and multidisciplinary care. She works closely with ophthalmologists in a dedicated Complex Uveitis Clinic, integrating rheumatology and ophthalmology expertise to manage ocular inflammatory disease. She remains actively involved in academic teaching and research, with a strong interest in optimizing targeted therapies and improving outcomes in immune-mediated disease.
