Dr. Soosan Soroosh is the first female Rheumatologist and medical researcher in Iran. She is professor in Rheumatology and a faculty member at AJA University for medical sciences in Tehran. She recognized for her contribution to the study of spondylarthropathies and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. She authored influential work on the Ankylosing spondylitis and psoriatic arthritis and epidemiology of fibromyalgia, offering insights into diagnostic criteria, symptom patterns and global variation in disease prevalence and guide line for its treatments. Her research extends to the economic and clinical burden of musculoskeletal conditions in society. She is in Editorial board of International Journal of Rheumatololgy,Annals of Military and Health Sciences Research, International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases. Soroosh’s scholarship reflects a commitment to improving diagnostic accuracy, optimizing patient care and informing public health strategies.
