Prof Muhammad Ahmed Saeed

Prof. Muhammad Ahmed Saeed is the Immediate Past President of the Pakistan Society for Rheumatology and the Founder, Professor, and Head Department of Rheumatology at the Institute of Rheumatic Diseases, Central Park Teaching Hospital, Lahore, Pakistan. He is dedicated to teaching, training, and research in rheumatology, having co-authored 40 publications and presented numerous abstracts at national and international conferences. His research interests include the epidemiology of rheumatic diseases, Spondyloarthritis, and Lupus. A Fellow of both the American College of Rheumatology and the Royal College of Physicians in the UK, he received the American College of Physicians International Fellowship Exchange Program award in 2014 and the WHO-APLAR-COPCORD grant in 2018. He serves as Co-Convener of the APLAR Epidemiology Special Interest Group and is a member of the COPCORD committee and APLAR Spondyloarthritis SIG. Additionally, he is a founding board member and Co-Chair of the Arthritis Care Foundation, supporting underprivileged arthritis patients.
