Mahabaleshwar Mamadapur

Dr. Mahabaleshwar Mamadapur is a rheumatologist based in Mysore, India. He currently serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Rheumatology at JSS Medical College. He completed his MBBS from Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences, followed by an MD in General Medicine from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences and a super-speciality(DM) training in Rheumatology at Madras Medical College.

His academic interests include autoimmune rheumatic diseases, systemic lupus erythematosus, inflammatory arthritis, and bone health in rheumatic diseases. He is actively involved in clinical research, mentoring students, and coordinating collaborative research projects. Dr Mamadapur has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications covering clinical rheumatology, immunology, and translational research.

He is a life member of several professional bodies, including the Association of Physicians of India and the Indian Rheumatology Association. Alongside clinical work and research, he actively participates in academic teaching and scientific meetings, advancing rheumatology education and patient care.
