Dr Isaac Tsz Ho Cheng

Dr Isaac Cheng TszHo has been actively involved in rheumatology research at the Rheumatology Research Centre within the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong since 2014 His research primarily focuses on investigating comorbidities in patients with inflammatory arthritis with a particular emphasis on cardiovascular disease and radiographic damage He utilizes advanced imaging techniques such as highresolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography HRpQCT and lowdose computed tomography ldCT to study and evaluate these conditions in detail Dr Cheng also possesses experience in conducting multicenter clinical trials and managing regional registries Since 2018 he has served as the facilitator of the APLAR SpA registryDr Cheng has presented his work at numerous international and regional rheumatology conferences Notably he received the Best Presenter award at the International Conference of Chinese Rheumatologist ICCR and the Best Abstract Award at the Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology APLAR congress in 2022 In addition he was honored with the Young Investigator Award at the Quantitative Musculoskeletal Imaging QMSKI conference in 2019 and presented his work in the GRAPPA meeting 2024 and 2025 He is also actively engaging in YGRAPPA communities and is currently a subcommittee in the newsletter group
