Prof Francesco Del Galdo

Prof Del Galdo is Susan Cheney Professor of Experimental Medicine at University of Leeds, where he has funded and leads the Rayanud’s and Scleroderma Programme since 2009. Focussed on enabling strategies to improve the life of patients with Scleroderma, the research program at Leeds is world renowned for the research on serum and imaging biomarkers for disease stratification and early detection of disease activity. Prof Del Galdo si past president of WSF EUSTAR, the biggest network of Scleroderma Research centres around the world and is lead author of the latest EUALR recommendations for treatment of Systemic Sclerosis.
