Dr Chunhuan Lao

Dr Chunhuan Lao is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. She is a biostatistician and health economist with over 10 years of experience in arthritis research. In 2022, she was awarded a three-year lupus fellowship by Arthritis New Zealand, exploring the prevalence, management, outcomes and costs of SLE in New Zealand. She has published seven journal articles in SLE. Today’s presentation is based on findings from her lupus fellowship.
