Dr. Raff is Senior Vice President, Autoimmune Clinical Development at CREATE Medicines. A board-certified dermatologist and physician-executive, he brings more than a decade of experience leading clinical development and translational medicine in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Prior to CREATE, he was Senior Vice President, Clinical Development at Orbital Therapeutics, where his clinical and regulatory strategy supported the company’s 1.5 billion acquisition by Bristol Myers Squibb, and he led development of an in vivo CD19 CAR-T therapy for B-cellmediated autoimmune diseases. He previously held leadership roles at Montai Therapeutics, EQRx (acquired by Revolution Medicines in 2023), and LEO Pharma.
Dr. Raff continues to practice dermatology at Beth Israel Lahey Health and holds a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School. He received his MD and PhD from the University of Southern California, completed his dermatology residency at Harvard, and a research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.
