Fariz Yahya

Associate Professor Dr Fariz Yahya holds the position of Consultant Rheumatologist at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre and is an Associate Professor at Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. He obtained his medical degree from Queen’s University Belfast (UK) and subsequently completed a Clinical Fellowship at the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases in Bath, United Kingdom. He has chaired the Malaysia-Singapore Spondyloarthritis Congress 2023, previously served as Treasurer of the Malaysian Society of Rheumatology, and currently occupies the role of President of Arthritis Foundation Malaysia and as an Executive Committee member of APLAR. Additionally, he is actively engaged in clinical rheumatology research.
