Dr. Su-Jin Moon received her MD (2004) and PhD (2013) from the School of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea, and obtained board certification in Rheumatology in 2011. She completed a visiting scholarship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. She is currently a Professor in the Division of Rheumatology, Department of Internal Medicine, at The Catholic University of Korea (since 2023). Dr. Moon is an active investigator in immunology and autoimmune diseases, with over 50 peer-reviewed publications on systemic sclerosis, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis. She has led multiple National Research Foundation grants as principal investigator. Her research focuses on identifying novel molecular targets for refractory autoimmune diseases, particularly the pathogenesis of systemic sclerosis and Sjögren’s syndrome, as well as cognitive dysfunction in connective tissue diseases.
