Brief Biography: Dr. Tash Arkachaisri, MD, FACR

Dr. Tash finished his rheumatology fellowship in 2000 from The Hospital for Special Surgery Program of Cornell University USA and held Dual American Board of Allergy/ Immunology and Pediatric Rheumatology. He has contributed significantly in the area of childhood onset scleroderma; epidemiology and clinical outcomes of pediatric rheumatic diseases in our region. He published over 200 original papers and abstracts and regularly reviews over 20 rheumatology journals. He also leads the on-going APLAR Guideline for the management of JIA. Currently, he is the Professor with the Academic Clinical Program in Pediatrics, Duke-NUS Medical School and Head and Senior Consultant of The Rheumatology and Immunology Program, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Director of the APLAR Center of Excellence.
