Dr. Peter Siu oversees the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Curriculum for final-year medical students at the University of Hong Kong. He is also a faculty instructor for the Martinoli Ultrasound MASTERS courses.
As the founding chairman of the ISMS ultrasound workshop series (https://isms.ortho.hku.hk/2025/) and Advisory Board Member of NYSORA, he has pioneered numerous ultrasound services and multi-specialty collaborations.
Dr. Siu specializes in ultrasound-guided interventions for musculoskeletal pain and is frequently invited to instruct at major conferences and workshops across East Asia, the Asia-Pacific region and Europe.
He authored the chapter “Wrist and Hand Injuries in Sports” in the book, “Clinical Ultrasonography in Sports Medicine” that would be published by Springer this year.
Dr. Siu is an active researcher with publications in the field of musculoskeletal ultrasound. He is also devoted to creating medical illustration and medical 3D modelling.
