Mitsuhiro Kawano

Dr. Mitsuhiro Kawano is a professor in the Department of Hematology and Immunology at Kanazawa Medical University, Japan. He specializes in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, with a particular focus on IgG4-related disease and Sjogren disease. After earning his medical degree from Kanazawa University, he completed his residency and fellowship training in internal medicine, nephrology, and rheumatology. Dr. Kawano has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has served as the principal investigator in several national research projects supported by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
