Dr. Xu Chuanhui is a consultant in the Department of Rheumatology, Allergy, and Immunology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He earned his M.D. from Peking University, China, and his Ph.D. from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. Dr. Xu completed his internal medicine and rheumatology training in Singapore and holds Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (MRCP, UK) and Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS). During his rheumatology training on the Clinician-Scientist track, he received the National Outstanding Clinician Scientist Resident Award from the National Medical Research Council (NMRC).
Dr. Xu actively participates in professional organizations, serving as a member of the APLAR Young Rheumatologist Board, the Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology (APLAR) rheumatoid arthritis special interest group, and the Asia Pacific Lupus Collaboration. He is also involved in medical education, holding teaching appointments at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (National University of Singapore) and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (Nanyang Technological University, Singapore), where he contributes to both undergraduate and postgraduate training.
