Dr. Chengappa Kavadichanda is a distinguished rheumatologist and clinical immunologist, currently serving as the Senior Consultant and Country Lead for Allergy and Immunology at the RheumaCARE network, South Asia. He obtained his MD in Internal Medicine from the University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi, and further specialized with a DM in Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology from JIPMER, Puducherry.
An integral member of teams that developed South Asia-specific vaccination, ANCA vasculitis, and APLAR telemedicine guidelines for autoimmune rheumatic diseases, Dr. Kavadichanda is also a respected figure in the academic community. He serves as assistant editor for the South Asian Journal of Rheumatology and is a member of the editorial board for BMC Rheumatology. His scholarly work includes over 70 publications with an H-index of 18, reflecting significant contributions to systemic autoimmune disease research. His academic achievements have been recognized with multiple accolades, including a young rheumatologist fellowship from both the East Asian College of Rheumatology and APLAR.
