Sung Won Lee, MD, PhD, is a Professor in the Division of Rheumatology at Dong-A University College of Medicine. As a leading expert in arthritis and autoimmune diseases, he manages over 600 patients monthly while conducting extensive pathogenesis research. He currently serves as the President of the Korean College of Rheumatology (KCR). Previously, he expanded his global research footprint as a Visiting Investigator at The Scripps Research Institute in the USA. Dr. Lee earned his PhD from Dong-A University, focusing his core research interests on osteoarthritis, chondrocyte biology, and stem cell transplantation. He has served as a principal investigator for numerous multinational clinical trials and has contributed significantly to the medical community by publishing over 110 peer-reviewed journal articles.
