Dr Sang Tae Choi

Sangtae Choi received the M.D. and M.S. degrees from Yonsei University College of Medicine, Seoul, South Korea, in 2001 and 2007, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in medical ethics from the Graduate School of Yonsei University, Seoul, in 2020. He received residency training in internal medicine and fellowship training in rheumatology at Yonsei University College of Medicine until 2009. In 2024, he was a Visiting Professor with the Department of Computer Engineering and Computer Science, California State University, Long Beach, CA, USA. He is currently a Professor with the Division of Rheumatology, Department of Internal Medicine, Chung-Ang University College of Medicine, Seoul. His research interests include deep learning-based medical image analysis, the physician–patient relationship, and professional responsibility in medicine.
