Dr. Phonpen Akarawatcharangura Goo is a board-certified rheumatologist and family physician based in Thailand, currently serving as Instructor and Consultant at Queen Savang Vadhana Memorial Hospital and Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. She completed her M.D. with Second Class Honors, residency training in Internal Medicine, and a fellowship in Rheumatology at Chulalongkorn University.
Dr. Goo is an experienced medical educator and program director of the Family Medicine Residency Training Program, actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum development, board examination committees, and competency-based assessment under the Royal College of Family Physicians of Thailand. She is also a certified musculoskeletal ultrasound instructor with advanced accreditation from EULAR
and serves as Course Director for multiple MSUS courses.
Her academic interests include musculoskeletal ultrasound, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, palliative care, patient advocacy, and innovative medical education.
