Dr Narain Kamalaraj is a consultant rheumatologist at The Arthritis Rheum and Medical Director of South by Southwest Specialists in Sydney, Australia. He is a Conjoint Senior Lecturer with Western Sydney University and holds an appointment as Honorary Medical Officer (Rheumatology) at Campbelltown Hospital. His clinical focus lies in inflammatory arthritis and the real-world management of musculoskeletal disease.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Kamalaraj served as Chair of the Training Program Committee for Rheumatology at the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, helping to shape the next generation of Australian rheumatologists, and remains actively engaged in rheumatology education and workforce development. He brings to the podium a practical, patient-centred perspective grounded in everyday specialist practice.
