Masayoshi Harigai, MD, PhD, served as Professor in the Department of Pharmacovigilance at the Graduate School of Tokyo Medical and Dental University (now Institute of Science Tokyo) from 2007 to 2015. In 2015, he joined Tokyo Women’s Medical University as an Endowed Professor and was subsequently appointed Professor in the Division of Rheumatology, Department of Internal Medicine, in 2019. He assumed his current positions in November 2025. He served as a board member of the Japan College of Rheumatology from 2018 to 2025, as Co-Convenor of the APLAR Vasculitis Special Interest Group (SIG) from 2022 to 2025, and has been Convenor of the SIG since September 2025.
