Professor Song, Jung Soo graduated from Chung-Ang University Medical School, Seoul, Republic of Korea. He completed his internal medicine major at Chung-Ang University Hospital, he became a professor of internal medicine at Inha University from 1999 to February 2005. Since moving to department of internal medicine, Chung-Ang University, he has been working as a professor of internal medicine at Chung-Ang University and as a professor of rheumatology at Chung-Ang University Hospital. From 2008 to 2009, he went on overseas training at UCSD in San Diego, U.S. From 2005 to 2025, he served as the head of the rheumatology department at Chung-Ang University Hospital. From 2022 to 2024, he served as the chairman of the Korean Academy of Geriatrics & Gerontology, and from 2024 to 2025, he served as the president of the Korean College of Rheumatology.
