Hye-Soon Lee, MD, PhD, is Professor of Rheumatology in the Department of Internal Medicine at Hanyang University Guri Hospital, Guri, South Korea, a position she has held since 2002. She currently serves as Associate Dean of Student Affairs at Hanyang University College of Medicine, Director of the Center for Chronic Pain at Hanyang University Guri Hospital, and Director of the Center for Precision Medicine at the Hanyang University Institute for Rheumatology Research. She earned her MD, MSc, and PhD from Hanyang University and Korea University, and completed her internship and internal medicine residency at Asan Medical Center and a rheumatology fellowship at Hanyang University Rheumatism Hospital. She was a Visiting Scientist at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, Manhasset, New York. Within the Korean College of Rheumatology, she serves as a Councilor and President of the Interventional Rheumatology Study Group.
