Dr. Changnam Son is a rheumatologist and professor at Eulji University School of Medicine, based at Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital, where he also serves as Chief of the Division of Rheumatology. He earned his MD, MS, and PhD from Hanyang University College of Medicine and completed research training at the University of Auckland. Dr. Son is actively engaged in academic and clinical research through his role as secretary of the Eulji Rheumatology Research Institute. His professional activities include leadership roles within the Korean College of Rheumatology, particularly in clinical guidelines, gout research, and textbook publication committees. He also contributes to national academic societies and serves as an advisory member for medical dispute mediation. In recognition of his research contributions, he received the Young Investigator Award from the Korean College of Rheumatology in 2022.
