How can rheumatology care be improved in 2025?

Synopsis:

It is 15 years since the first Treat-to-Target recommendations in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) were published. In 2025, this treatment strategy for the management of RA is well accepted, but even in today’s clinic with multiple treatment options available, it is not routinely embedded into clinical practice. In this symposium, the presenters will discuss the value of embedding treat to target principles in today’s busy clinical practice which is often challenged by resource limitations. The presenters will share their perspectives on the opportunities that remain to be addressed and how technologic advances may help facilitate improvements in clinical care.

Practical tips that when implemented, even on a small scale, may  improve patient outcomes will also be shared.
