Dr Tang May Shuen is a Rheumatology Associate Consultant with the Department of Medicine Division of Rheumatology and Allergy National University Hospital Singapore She obtained her MBBS degree from the National University Singapore in 2018 and completed Rheumatology training in 2025 She was awarded an international travel grant for a preceptorship on Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and Lupus Nephritis at the Amsterdam Rheumatology and Immunology Center in May 2023 Dr Tang currently serves as the Clinical Service Director and Patient Safety Officer for her division She provides holistic care in the quaternary Lupus Clinic and the Timely Arthritis Response and Guided Escalation of Treatment Clinics She is an active member in the CART Cell Therapy Steering Committee and ImmuneRelated Toxicity Team She is actively involved in education as a Core Faculty member for the Internal Medicine residency programme and Clinical Senior Lecturer for the NUS medical school
