Dr. A T M Tanveer Hasan, a clinical and interventional rheumatologist, is currently serving as the Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Rheumatology at Green Life Medical College in Dhaka. He is the Chairperson of the Education and Research Subcommittee of APLAR Young Rheumatologists. He is a member of OMERACT and the EULAR Study Group on Microcirculation in Rheumatic Diseases. He founded the first dedicated Interventional Rheumatology unit in Bangladesh. He has special interest in CTD-ILD, Sjogren syndrome, rheumatological ultrasound and interventions as well as nailfold capillaroscopy. He has 32 publications in international and local journals. Moreover, he has been instrumental in formulating several published national and international guidelines on rheumatic diseases. He is also a co-author of the chapter called ‘Infection-Associated Vasculitis’ of the 2nd edition of the renowned book called ‘Textbook of Systemic Vasculitis’.
