Chung Ho Yin is the honorary assistant professor of the University of Hong Kong. He received his doctor of medicine and specialist training in Hong Kong and was a clinical assistant professor at the University of Hong Kong and an Associate Consultant at Queen Mary Hospital. He is the fellow of the Royal College of Physician (Edinburgh) ,and member of the special interest group (SIG) in spondyloarthritis of the Hong Kong Society of Rheumatology (HKSR) and Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology (APLAR). He was also the associate editor of the Journal of Clinical Rheumatology and Immunology and International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases. His areas of interest include application of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in axial spondyloarthritis. His research articles have been published in numerous international journals including an Editor’s Choice in the Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases and Radiology. He was awarded outstanding free paper bronze prize in the 9th Guangdong-Hong Kong Rheumatology Seminar 2014, best free paper award, International Conference of Chinese Rheumatologists 2018 and 2023, and best abstract in APLAR 2018 and 2021.
