Dr. In Ah Choi, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Internal Medicine at Korea University College of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Rheumatology at Korea University Guro Hospital in Seoul, Korea. She completed her medical degree at Kyung Hee University, received her PhD from Seoul National University, and trained in rheumatology at Seoul National University Hospital. Her clinical and research interests focus on systemic autoimmune diseases, particularly rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and osteoimmunology. Dr. Choi has contributed to numerous clinical trials and population-based studies investigating disease mechanisms, comorbidities, and treatment outcomes in inflammatory rheumatic diseases. She has also conducted translational research in bone and immune interactions and served as a visiting research scholar at the David Z. Rosensweig Genomics Research Center at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Dr. Choi is an active member of several professional societies, including the Korean College of Rheumatology and the American College of Rheumatology.
