Dr Carmen Tze-Kwan HO
is a Consultant of Queen Mary Hospital,
Honorary Clinical Associate Professor of Clinical School of Medicine, LKS Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong

Carmen, a graduate of The University of Hong Kong in 1992, has since built a career as a Consultant Rheumatologist. Her professional focus is on inflammatory arthritis and clinical application of musculoskeletal ultrasound, an area in which she has demonstrated significant expertise.

In 2013, Carmen attained EULAR level 2 competency in musculoskeletal ultrasound, marking a significant milestone in her career. This certification has enabled her to share her expertise by organizing and leading numerous local ultrasound courses.
All these years, Carmen played a pivotal role as both an organizer and faculty member for basic and intermediate EULAR-endorsed ultrasound courses, and APLAR-endorsed ultrasound courses which were held in Hong Kong and China. Her contributions have been instrumental in advancing the field of musculoskeletal ultrasound in Hong Kong and the region.
