Dr. Shinsuke Yasuda earned both his M.D. and Ph.D from Hokkaido University.
Trained as a physician and rheumatologist in Medicine II, Hokkaido University, directed by a Dr. Takao Koike. He also engaged in translational research in the Department of Rheumatology, Immunology & Allergy, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston, directed by Dr Richard L Stevens.
Currently he is a professor of Department of Rheumatology, Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences, Institute of Science Tokyo. His current research interest is synovial biology in rheumatoid arthritis, pathophysiology of systemic lupus erythematosus and antiphospholipid syndrome.
