Peter Nash is a Professor at Griffith Universitys School of Medicine and an Associate Professor at the University of Queenslands Department of Medicine where he also directs the Rheumatology Research Unit on the Sunshine Coast He has chaired various committees including the Professional Affairs Committee and Therapeutics Committee of the Australian Rheumatology Association Prof Nash is a member of the International Steering Committee for GRAPPA and serves on the editorial boards of several prestigious journals including Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases His group has participated in significant clinical trials for modern targeted synthetic and biologic therapies and he has published over 350 peerreviewed papers and 6 book chapters Recently he was recognized as the most cited Australian rheumatology research leader in the top 20 rheumatology journals from 2022 to 2025
