Maureen Rischmueller is a consultant rheumatologist at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (South Australia), Alice Springs and Royal Darwin Hospitals (Northern Territory), and Clinical Professor, University of Adelaide. She has a long-standing research interest in autoimmune rheumatic diseases, with a particular focus on Sjögren disease, and has co-authored >150 publications and 4 book chapters. She is Principal Investigator of industry-sponsored multicentre clinical trials in a broad range of rheumatic diseases, including recent therapies for psoriatic arthritis, and investigator-led sub-studies of immune dysregulation. She is Custodian of the South Australian Sjogren Registry and Biobank, Co-Chair of the OMERACT Sjögren Special Interest Group (SIG), member of the APLAR Sjögren SIG, EULAR Sjögren Taskforce, Sjögren Big Data and Genetics Consortia, and Steering Committee member for the Australian Lupus Registry/Biobank and Indigenous Australian SLE Research Program.
