Hoon-Suk Cha, M.D., and Ph.D. is a professor of Internal Medicine at Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine, Samsung Medical Center from 2011.
He became a visiting professor at the University of California, San Diego after completing his internship and residency at Seoul National University Hospital, and fellowship at Samsung Medical Center.
He previously served as the head of the rheumatology department and hospitalization department at Samsung Medical Center.
He served as the director of general affairs, academic affairs and finance of the Korean College of Rheumatology and is currently the chairman of the Korean College of Rheumatology and the director of the Rheumatology Research Foundation.
