Dr. Hideto Kameda graduated from School of Medicine, Keio University in 1990 and advanced to Graduate School of Keio University. After finishing his clinical training and basic research, he received his PhD degree from Keio University and moved to NIEHS/NIH, North Carolina, USA in 1997 as a visiting research fellow of the laboratory of molecular carcinogenesis. In 2000, he moved to Saitama Medical Center, Kawagoe, Japan, and then once returned to Keio University in 2009. Currently, Dr. Kameda is a Professor at Division of Rheumatology, Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Toho University. Dr. Kameda is the president of the Japan Spondyloarthritis Society, a director of the Japan Society for Clinical Immunology and the Japanese Society for Clinical Rheumatology and Related Research, an auditor of the Japanese Society of Inflammation and Regeneration, and a councilor of Japan College of Rheumatology, as well as a steering committee member of Immune-Mediated Inflammatory Diseases Forum and a faculty member of TREG Consulting, Inc.
