Andrea Hsiu Ling Low

Dr Andrea Low is Senior Consultant and Director of the Systemic Sclerosis Program in the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology, Singapore General Hospital, and Associate Professor at the Duke-National University of Singapore. She graduated from the University of Nottingham Medical School and pursued advanced training in the United Kingdom, Singapore and Toronto, sub-specialising in systemic sclerosis. She subsequently obtained the Master of Clinical Investigation. She established the Systemic Sclerosis Cohort in Singapore (SCORE) since 2008. She is convenor of the APLAR systemic sclerosis special interest group, and spear-headed the APLAR SSc Incident Cohort, She is a clinician scientist and has won several awards including the National Medical Research Council Transition Award and Clinician Scientist Award, and the GCEO Award for outstanding researcher for her work focusing on the clinical translation aspects of SSc and clinical trials. She is co-inventor on a patent and is well-published.
