Synopsis: This workshop offers a comprehensive clinical review of major rheumatic diseases, integrating updated therapeutic strategies with essential principles of interventional rheumatology relevant to contemporary clinical practice. Session 1: Major Disease Update Review (I) will focus on rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and systemic lupus erythematosus. Synopsis: Obesity is a major comorbidity in psoriatic disease. It increases inflammation, worsens disease severity, reduces treatment response, and raises cardiovascular risks and mortality. This GRAPPA workshop aims to equip rheumatologists and healthcare providers with evidence-based, multidisciplinary education on the link between psoriasis and obesity, along with updates on new therapeutic options. APLAR Travel Grant Invitation The Asia-Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology (APLAR) once again invites all APLAR Young Rheumatologists (AYR) to submit their application for the APLAR Congress Travel Grant. APLAR will grant 50 need-based travel stipends to AYR members with an accepted abstract for a poster or oral presentation for 2025.
