The Singapore Society of Rheumatology (SSR) is an organisation that represents and brings together specialists and other healthcare professionals active in the field of rheumatology in Singapore.
Objectives of the Society
We seek to advance the knowledge and practice of rheumatology.
As an organisation we recognise the importance of providing the necessary support for our members and for developing the field of rheumatology to its fullest potential.
Therefore, we are focused in promoting the sharing of experience between our members and with experts from other specialties, and also in leveraging on the skills and knowledge of local and international experts to advance rheumatology in Singapore.
Promoting regional and international co-operation in rheumatology
‘No man is an island’ and so we actively seek to engage rheumatologists from all over the world to work together with us and our members.
Organising scientific workshops, symposia and conferences related to rheumatology
SSR organises continued medical education (CME) events, scientific workshops, courses, symposia and conferences related to rheumatology. Given the changes brought on by the COVID19 pandemic, we have also actively adapted to remote deliveries of educational activities.
