Keiichiro Nishida, MD, PhD, began his academic career as an Assistant Professor in the 2nd Department of Anatomy at Okayama University Graduate School of Medicine and Dentistry from 1996 to 1997. During this time, he also served as an invited postgraduate student in the Department of Pathology at Edinburgh University Medical School. In April 2004, he was appointed Associate Professor in the Department of Human Morphology, and later, in April 2017, transitioned to the role of Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Since October 2023, he has held the position of Professor at the Locomotive Pain Center at Okayama University Hospital.
