Dear friends, as the APLAR 2023 Congress is approaching I would like to provide you the latest information about the Congress.

This is the first face-to-face meeting after COVID-19 situation.

This meeting, we will have 50 scientific sessions, including four plenary sessions and 16 SIG groups. We also have five workshops. We have 130 speakers all around the world. In addition, this meeting have over 1,000 abstracts submit to the Congress.

This is the highest number ever submitted to the APLAR, in addition to the scientific meeting, I’m sure that you would like to explore Chiang Mai.

December is the winter time of Thailand. The weather Chiang Mai is cool and breezy and is is the perfect time for outdoor activities. Chiang Mai used to be the capital of Thailand during the Lana period, 700 years ago. We have very old Temples, Buddhist-style for you to visit. We have the highest mountain, Doi Inthanon, which is the highest mountain in Thailand. We have small hill tribes religious that you can visit. Also many religious for handicrafts.

So in addition to the scientific meeting, I’m sure that you will be happy with the outdoor activities in Chiang Mai.
