Ho-Youn Kim

Dr. Ho-Youn Kim has appointed as a professor of Internal Medicine in Catholic University of Korea. In 1984, Dr. Kim went to the University of Tennessee (UT) for rheumatology training under the tutelage of Professors Andrew Kang. After returning to Korea, As a pioneer of Korean rheumatology, he established Division of Rheumatology and has dealt with a wide variety of rheumatic diseases from clinical study to laboratory work in Korea.

In recognition of his achievements and dedication, Dr. Kim was elected as a APLAR president from 2010 to 2012) and invited to get ACR master award as well as received APLAR Master award. Since 2016, he has served a director of private rheumatic clinic and kept on clinical research relevant to T cell -IFN-r mediated autoimmunity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
