Dr Valerie Chiang is a resident trainee in The Division in Clinical Immunology of Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong. With a special interest in drug allergy, she first piloted multidisciplinary initiatives to tackle population-wide allergy services, which incorporates non-allergists and allied health into Allergy clinics, allowing the collaborative expansion of allergy and immunology services. Beyond vaccine and drug hypersensitivity, she is also interested in adult onset and acquired immunodeficiency syndromes. With exposure to both laboratory and clinical services of the specialty, she advocates for bench-to-bedside fluency to
provide holistic and personalized care for all immunology and allergy patients.
