She is currently working as a lecturer, Consultant Physician and Rheumatologist in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2004 and obtained the Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians, MRCP (UK) in 2009. She completed her Internal Medicine postgraduate clinical training from UKM in 2010. Her Rheumatology clinical training was in Malaysia (Putrajaya Hospital & UKM) and Birmingham UK (University Birmingham Hospital and City Hospital Birmingham). She subsequently obtained the Fellowship of Rheumatology (Malaysia) in 2015. She has published over 30 articles in indexed journals and her main research area is in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). Apart from clinical services, education and research, she is also actively involved in various organizations such as Malaysian SLE organization (Vice President) and Malaysian Society of Rheumatology (Treasurer), in order to educate and increase awareness about autoimmune diseases among public and health-care professionals.
