Prof. Zhifeng Gu is a famous rheumatologist (Ranking Top 20 in this field) in China. As a vice president of Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University and the director of Clinical Trial Center, he leads the predominant rheumatology research at both clinical and basic levels. He mainly focuses on the therapeutic potential of mesenchymal stem cells, the etiology of bone marrow B cells in lupus, and patient reported outcomes (PRO) of patients with autoimmune diseases. Supported by multiple national and provincial fundings, Prof. Gu and his colleagues have published 112 high-level articles and vigorously fostered clinical translation.
