Professor Cho Mar Lwin is the professor and head of the department of Rheumatology at the University of Medicine (1) Yangon, Myanmar.
She has received her medical degree in 1998 and then attained master of medical science (internal medicine) in 2005, doctor of medical science (general medicine) in 2012. She has received MRCP (UK) in 2011 and then FRCP (Edin) in 2016.
She has 23 years of clinical experience up to now and already 13 years in Rheumatology. She has joined Rheumatology training in Myanmar in 2010 and has also been exposed to hands-on clinical training in Rheumatology at the Singapore General Hospital and Southampton General Hospital, UK. She has been delivering Rheumatology lectures to undergrad and post grad students, general practitioners and giving health education to public in Myanmar.
She is the secretary general of Myanmar Rheumatology Society. Her areas of interest are Lupus, vasculitis and RA.
