Prof. Ashish Jacob Mathew

Ashish J Mathew is a professor of rheumatology at the Christian Medical College, Vellore, India and an adjunct research associate at the Copenhagen Center for Arthritis Research (COPECARE), Copenhagen University Hospital-Rigshospitalet, Glostrup, Denmark. He completed his basic medical education and rheumatology training in India, followed by a PhD in ‘MRI and clinical aspects of enthesitis in spondyloarthritis, including psoriatic arthritis’ from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark and an advanced clinical research fellowship in rheumatology focussing on psoriatic arthritis from the University of Toronto. His research is focussed around psoriatic arthritis and spondyloarthritis. He has 65 publications in peer reviewed journals and has authored 6 textbook chapters. He is an active member of the GRAPPA , ASAS and OMERACT MR imaging and PsA groups.
