Dr. Farzana Shumy

Dr. Farzana Shumy is a young Rheumatologist from Bangladesh, currently working as an Associate Consultant of Rheumatology and Internal Medicine in Square Hospitals Ltd. She graduated in 2005 from Mymensingh Medical College (University of Dhaka). She obtained her Fellowship from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in Internal Medicine in 2013, did MRCP UK in 2016 and completed MD in Rheumatology in 2019. Recently, she was awarded the Fellowship of Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and Fellowship of American College of Rheumatology. She has 33 publications with multiple citations in International & local peer reviewed journals. She has special interests in vasculitis and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
